Tim
the guesthouse provided us with a family room equipped with a microwave and facilities to boil water. the location was fantastic, as it was close to Akranes and the Keflavik airport.

Everything was great, PEACEFUL hotel, the location was absolutely perfect short walk to parking lot in front, the ocean, and central Akranes. The atmosphere created was family. The room was neat, moreover perfect in shared bathroom. The breakfast was marvellous with salmon and traditional Icelandic fare, for example, the staff was really helpful.

The room at Akra Guesthouse was basic but cozy, with wooden floors and a warm atmosphere. I really liked the shared bathroom facilities, as they were always clean and accessible. It gave the place a communal vibe that made me feel at home.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom. But hey, that's just me!

The Akra Guesthouse in Akranes was spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. The host was very friendly and offered us a romantic and delicious breakfast. She also provided us with valuable local insights and tips for our travels. We highly recommend the informative service she offered - checking roads and weather conditions and providing maps.
Would recommend.

The Akra Guesthouse provided me with a comfortable and pleasant stay in Akranes. The room in the shared bathroom category was clean and cozy, offering a peaceful environment for a good night's sleep. One positive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff who made me feel welcome and provided useful information about the local attractions. the convenient location allowed easy access to nearby shops and restaurants, making it an ideal choice for exploring the city.
Despite the overall positive experience at Akra Guesthouse, I did find one minor drawback during my stay. The lack of blackout curtains, though the room had shades and curtains, failed to fully block out the sunlight.

The room at Akra Guesthouse had a cozy and homely feel to it, thanks to the wooden floors.
Personally, I would have preferred a private bathroom, but I understand some people enjoy the shared experience.

I really enjoyed the warm hospitality and friendly owners of the guesthouse. They were very kind and provided helpful tips for our travels. the breakfast served was quite good, with homemade jams and other tasty treats. One more advantage was the safe environment, which was perfect for families with kids.
The shared bathroom situation was a big inconvenience for us. There was only one bathroom for too many guests, and it made it difficult to access when needed.
